It is hard to fail, but it is worst to have never tried to succeed

On being asked to define his career in one line, famed star Kevin Costner wisely responded, “I’m living a life”. What a brilliant answer!

True, life is all about ups and downs, good and bad, happiness and tears, but what’s more important is what we take from these experiences. Don’t let setbacks and rejection get the better of you.

The future only belongs to those who dare to dream big and believe in showing their dreams to the world. Our dreams have the prowess of distracting us from reality and taking us to a magical land. But wait, you do have the potential to create the very same magic in reality. Yes, IF YOU CAN DREAM IT, YOU DEFINITELY CAN DO IT.

It’s easier to spend days being hard on yourself for your past mistakes. It could either be a failed relationship, a business dealing that cost you a fortune, or even getting fired from your job. Take heart, as some of the most successful people around the globe managed themselves during such situations. You’re never too old or too busy to pursue your dreams. The world is your stage and you’re the performer. Go out there and nail them.

We have a list of some amazingly famous people who circled around their dreams and battled failures. Just so you know, some failures might just be the best thing life had ever done to you.

Find out how these visionaries made lemonades and gulped it down, while life was busy throwing lemons at them.

1. Walt Disney: Disney worked at a newspaper firm, where his editor out rightly fired him, stating “lack of imagination” and dearth of good ideas to be the reasons. That didn’t stop Disney from pursuing his dream of building theme parks, and turning his dreams to a richer reality.

2. The Ellen DeGeneres Show: A paralegal from a law firm with a history of un-glamorous jobs didn’t stop Ellen from being glamorous. With limitless dreams, she went on to become America’s Funniest person according to Showtime.

3. What’s Cooking” Julia Child: An ex CIA officer, who didn’t know the ABC”s (All about cooking), is now a famed chef. Julia epitomized the fact that if you wish to pursue your dreams, nothing can actually stop you. Think of it, will any sane person ever leave their current job only to explore a completely alien field? Only, if their sanity could stop them from achieving their dreams.

4. “People Are Talking” Oprah Winfrey: Being told she was unfit in the field she thought she was a pro, the initial resistance didn’t bog down Winfrey’s spirit. An evening TV news reporter went on to make a daytime show, only to realize it was going to be the next big thing.

Some people dream of success, while others work at it. These heroic examples often remind us that faith moves mountains and nothing is impossible. Never give up, for who knows that might be just the time when your tide may turn.

Go ahead and sway the world with your dreams. They’re worth it.
